You clicked Learn more in CopyTrans Studio because a notification appeared while browsing your iPhone’s photos. Here’s what’s happening and what to expect.
Why is photo deletion temporarily unavailable?
When you first connect your iPhone, CopyTrans Studio automatically scans your photo library in the background. Until the scan is complete, photo deletion is temporarily unavailable.
Why does this happen?
iPhones don’t share their full photo library all at once when connected over USB. CopyTrans Studio has to go through your library folder by folder to build a complete list of your photos. This is a limitation of the way iOS shares files — not something CopyTrans Studio can skip.
What happens during the scan?
- You can browse your photos normally
- Copying and backing up works as usual
- Deleting photos is temporarily disabled
This is intentional, CopyTrans Studio will not delete photos from an incomplete list.
How long does it take?
Usually just a few seconds. On very large libraries (10,000+ photos), it may take up to a minute.
What do I need to do?
Nothing. The scan runs automatically in the background. Once it’s done, the notification bar disappears and photo deletion becomes available.
